CDC Catalog of Vaccine Data Collection Solutions

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Immunization Services Division worked with Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) to prepare a “Catalog of Electronic Technologies Used for Data Collection at Vaccination Clinics”. The catalog lists a number of technologies; however, it only identifies a single mobile solution: Handheld Automated Notification for Drugs and Immunizations (HANDI). HANDI is a version of Countermind’s Mobile Intelligence™ Clinic (MI Clinic) specifically tailored for vaccination campaigns. Using MI Clinic Manager an organization can define the data collection requirements for screening and treating patients and the MI Clinic mobile app for iOS will capture that data so that it can be electronically submitted to immunization registries or electronic health records in real time or in batches. For more information about MI Clinic, go to the product page or contact Countermind. You can download the “Catalog of Electronic Technologies Used for Data Collection at Vaccination Clinics” from our site here.
