Countermind MI Clinic (Mobile Intelligence™ Clinic) Wins Public Health Award

(Littleton, CO) — Countermind, a mobile enterprise software leader, today announced the mobile app HANDI (Hand-held Automated Notification for Drugs and Immunizations) developed for Denver Health (DH) has won the Model Practice Award at the NACCHO Annual 2012 Conference. HANDI features Countermind’s MI Clinic (Mobile Intelligence™ Clinic) technology and was chosen from a distinguished group of 166 applications. The NACCHO conference brings together local health officials and their partners to share strategies and successes for public health outreach. It is the largest gathering of local health officials in the United States.

Countermind’s HL7 Compliant MI Clinic mobile app enabled Denver Public Health staff to conduct efficient immunization and prophylaxis activities including registering individuals and monitoring contraindications using commonly available mobile devices (e.g., iPhone, iPod touch). Building on the success of this project, Countermind is making MI Clinic available to additional Public Health organizations throughout the nation to support outreach and emergency preparedness.
